Green Tie

We’re looking at a television screen that’s playing a weather report. The report starts with a graphic of clouds on a blue background, then transitions to a man in a suit standing in front of a green screen, which is displaying weather headlines. The headlines include ‘*CONTINUED CLEAR SKIES’, ‘*GRADUALLY WARMER,’ and ‘*PATTERN CHANGE MON.’  The man is light-skinned and appears to be in his 40s, with dark hair and a beard. He’s wearing a dark suit, a light-colored shirt, and a green and blue tie.

The screen displays text such as ‘WEATHER HEADLINES,’ ‘MITCHELL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TEMPERATURE: 60°,’ ‘DEW POINT: 52° / RELATIVE HUMIDITY: 74%,’ and ‘WIND: CALM / PRESSURE: 30.18 S.’ The bottom of the screen reads ‘Faire défiler pour voir les détails.’

As the report continues, the man stands in front of a weather map of Wisconsin, which is shaded red to indicate warm temperatures, and he wears an orange, green and red colored tie. The temperature in Milwaukee is highlighted as 72°. The screen then shows another map, indicating the temperature across the United States, with much of the southern and mid-western areas shaded in orange and red.

Then the weather man realizes that his tie is blending into the green screen behind him, causing a see-through effect. He laughs it off, and continues with the weather report.

The report ends with a seven-day weather forecast.
