The Wes Anderson Collection: The Fantastic Mister Fox.

We’re watching ‘Chapter 6 Fantastic Mr. Fox,’ which features a montage of film clips from various works, mostly directed by Wes Anderson, while a voiceover discusses his style. We see scenes from ‘Rushmore,’ with many individuals gathered together, clapping. Then we watch a close-up of Bill Murray smoking, with the title, ‘The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.’ Next, we see a man running beside a train in ‘The Darjeeling Limited,’ with Adrien Brody and Owen Wilson looking solemn. A mole wearing a polo shirt and white shorts stands with a tiny drink in hand. Next, a man passes out a card while filming an ‘American Express’ commercial in front of a grand building. Now, sitting behind a movie camera, Wes Anderson turns as a horse walks past. We see Anderson sitting at a desk with a toy boat and behind a movie camera.

The scene transitions to clips of stop-motion animation: spiders, a seahorse in a plastic bag, and Bill Murray sitting in a train looking out the window; a tiger stands in the jungle. Then, Wes Anderson is seen working with small puppet figures. The scene cuts to animal puppets at a grocery store.

Next, we see blue-furred Sully in ‘Monsters, Inc.’ followed by a man working on a dinosaur figure. Clips of stop-motion animation from ‘King Kong’ and ‘Jason and the Argonauts’ appear. Finally, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is shown.

The ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ characters roam around a liquor cellar; we see drawings and models for that film. Then, there’s a split-screen scene comparing ‘Apocalypse Now’ with shots from ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox.’

The narrator claims that the hero is a ‘honey voiced corduroy-suited rock star rascal’ like Max Fischer from ‘Rushmore,’ Royal Tenenbaum from ‘The Royal Tenenbaums,’ Steve Zissou from ‘The Life Aquatic,’ Francis Whitman from ‘The Darjeeling Limited,’ and Danny Ocean from ‘Ocean’s Eleven.’

The scene ends with a black wolf in a snowy mountain range.
