Making the Second Draft
Have students access the student chapter Making the Second Draft and go through the instructions with them. Encourage them to review chapters of the lessons relating to the comic they are reviewing.
When students have completed their revised comic, have them access the student chapter Second Draft Reflection, complete the interactive activity and save their work.
Have students submit their revised comic, the feedback they provided to their partner(s), and their reflection. Assess using the Second Draft Assessment Rubric.
Have students share their finished. This can be done through distributing copies, holding a class “comic convention,” or posting them on a class website. If you choose, you can have students share their reflections as well.
