Teaching Steps

We start with a man on the right wearing a light blue button-up shirt. To the left, we see the words “Consider your” stacked on top of the word “PROCESS”. Behind him is a white background with some transparent circles in light blue, light green, and peach. As he speaks, bullet points of text are added under the main words.

Then, it transitions to just the man’s face, still in the light blue shirt. To the left of him, it reads “I DO” and then a bullet point that says “Direct instruction”.

Next, we see a white rectangle with rounded corners containing text. It is surrounded by small circles of different colors.

The view switches back to the man’s face, with the words “I DO” above, followed by bullet points of “Demonstrate” and “Talk through an imperfect example”.

An animated cell phone pops into the middle of the screen, with a green square showing through the front camera of the cell phone. The phone is yellow with blue trim, and there are lines of yellow light coming off the phone. Inside the phone screen, we see three students reviewing a presentation. Above is the text, “WE DO”

We cut back to the man with the words “WE DO” above him. Bullet points say “Make or analyze an example together” and “Play around with medium and technology”.

Back to the man again. “YOU DO” is written above him.

Then we see a white background with a quote to the left of the man, “A work of art is never finished, only abandoned.” The speaker of the quote is named below, “Paul Valery.”

Again, the screen presents the animated cellphone, only containing an image of students working in what appears to be a library.

The man is shown again with “RE – DO” above.

And lastly, we see a logo that says “MediaSmarts” inside of a white rounded rectangle. Above it are floating transparent circles.
