You Finish the Story

This is an optional assessment activity that draws on what students learned in the Making Comics lesson.

Have students access the student chapter You Finish the Story: Sasha or project it on a screen or digital whiteboard. This story is designed to present a moral dilemma with no easy answer.

Have students read through the comic and then make a comic that shows the situation being resolved positively.

Remind students that there is no right answer to these dilemmas: what matters is how carefully they have considered the issues, how clearly they have communicated their thinking and how well they used comics storytelling devices.
