Creating the Second Draft
Go back to the earlier lessons on digital storytelling that are most relevant to the feedback you received. For example, if you received feedback on your use of camera angles, review the lesson Rules of Notice.
- How can you make your story clearer and more engaging?
- Can you use digital storytelling techniques to make your story more clear or more effective?
- How can you improve the pacing or flow of your story?
- Are there any visuals you can add or change to make your story more effective?
- Are there changes to the narration or the music that would make your story more effective?
You can download a new copy of the Story Table handout to plan your changes.
When you’ve decided what to change, you can review the chapter on the Digital Story Maker if necessary. Depending on the changes you are making, you may either return to a project you saved in the Digital Story Maker or create your revised version from scratch.
