Remixing Gendered Ads

For this assignment, you will:

Find an ad that you can identify as being aimed either at men or women.

Next you will remix your ad.

You can choose between:

 

  • making a version of the ad that is aimed at a different gender
  • making a version of the ad that is one that does not have any gendered elements, or
  • making a version of the ad that is aimed at the same gender but has more positive messages about masculinity or femininity.

 

Your remixed ad does not have to be in the same format as the original ad.
