They create accounts and they\u2019re just on YouTube and they become this character which is not them, and it gives them the chance to become somebody else, someone they wish they could be.\r\n\r\nI don\u2019t really get embarrassed by putting like pictures of me making a funny face or something but I would never put that as my profile picture.\r\n\r\nIf a guy has his shirt off in his photo, people will say he\u2019s good looking -- but if he\u2019s fat, he\u2019ll be called fat.\r\n\r\nGirls kind of feel pressured to be on lots of social media sites and post pictures of themselves, and then if they\u2019re getting a lot of guy followers they\u2019ll feel pressures to like cater their pictures or the style of their picture more to guy followers.\r\n\r\nGuys can get away with bloody murder compared to girls in social networking because no one expects a guy to care. But they expect a girl to care, so if a girl doesn\u2019t care, they just assume that she\u2019s doing it purposely.\r\n\r\nYou look at the picture and you\u2019re like \u201cWhy won\u2019t people like this?\u201d and then you look at it and you think \u201cYeah, my hair doesn\u2019t look that good,\u201d or \u201cMy clothes don\u2019t look that good,\u201d or \u201cWow, that outfit actually wasn\u2019t that nice.\u201d\r\n\r\nSometimes it's really embarrassing, if you're making, like, the stupidest face in a picture and your friend posts it, that's gonna start some drama if they won't take it down or people have already seen it.\r\n\r\nIt makes me more comfortable when my profile picture is something that looks flawless and \u2018pretty\u2019 even though I know it\u2019s fake.\r\n\r\nWe know pictures in ads are Photoshopped, but we still want to look like that.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n ","rendered":"
