Creating the Second Draft

Have students access the student chapter Creating the Second Draft and go through the instructions with them. Encourage them to review chapters of the lessons relating to the Digital Story they are reviewing.

You may wish to revisit the chapters on the Story Table and the Digital Story Maker to make sure students are familiar with those and don’t experience any technical challenges.

When students have completed their revised Digital Stories, have them access the student chapter Second Draft Reflection, complete the interactive activity and save their work.

Have students submit their revised Digital Story, the feedback they provided to their partner(s), and their reflection. Assess using the Second Draft Assessment Rubric.
